2010 was a whirlwind. By January we were so excited to be expecting our fourth baby and as a result I spent the first 3 months on the couch. Ethan was baptized and this served to be the spiritual highlight of the entire year.
In March we moved to our new house just a mile down the road from our old one. For a couple of months we adjusted to the move and dealt with some surprising issues. Ethan DID NOT want to leave the house, Syd ate even less and Anna started biting her nails. Thankfully all issues are now resolved (except for the nail biting).
As soon as we moved in we began to finish our basement. This absorbed much spare time, designing, getting bids, scheduling contractors, etc. But it did get done just in time for the Johnson family reunion in August. It was a great time to have almost everyone together.
Two weeks later school started and in two more weeks our new baby girl Elizabeth arrived safe and sound. Take two months off to be in 'newborn' mode and then its the holidays and the new year. Yikes!
Lots of change. After almost 6 yrs in the stake Primary presidency I was released and Lance was called to be in the bishopric.
We are happy, healthy and together. I call it a successful year.
