This whole wheat bread recipe is so easy and it produced 3 delicious and beautiful loaves. Thanks to my new Relief Society for sharing!
NO FEAR Whole Wheat Bread
5 cups HOT water
2 T. salt
2/3 c. oil
2/3 c. honey
Add all that to the bread mixer then put in 7 cups whole wheat flour all at once and begin to mix.
While it is mixing add:
2 1/2 T. SAF yeast- (I used Red Star)
Then add 5 cups whole wheat flour one cup at a time allowing each cup to completely mix in. After the last cup is added, put the lid on the mixer (if there is one) and turn it on high for 6 minutes.
Pull the dough out of the mixer, divide and into equal 5 sections. Knead each section briefly and form into loaf and put in pans sprayed with Pam. Allow to rise until double in bulk and bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 5 medium loaves or about 3 big loaves. You may need to bake the larger loaves a little longer.
Allow to cool, slice and wrap well, freezes and keeps well in freezer.
