We love to visit Seattle in the summer. Unfortunately, while we were there the entire Seattle area was experiencing record heat. With three pregnant women in the house Mom was under some serious pressure to find something to cool down the 98 degree house. There seemed to be no relief in sight since the stores were sold out of everything related to cooling down. Then Lance had a brilliant idea... we would buy a air conditioner in Idaho on our drive up. We had to strap Anna to the roof to make room for the air conditioner but it did make for a quieter ride. Everyone was very glad to see us when we finally arrived in Seattle.
We all had a great time going to baseball games, visiting Joe and Mandy, help plan a wedding for Morgan and Ashley and just hanging out with family. From the moment we pulled in the driveway Syd and Julia (who just happened to have matching swim suits) disappeared away from the crowds to play endlessly by themselves. Ethan LOVES to play with his 4 little boy cousins. He will be a great babysitter when he is older. All of the kids love taking care of Tiki, grandma's very sweet dog.
During our visit other families were in town, too. The total was 11 staying in the house with our family in the pop-up trailer (which we loved) and Morgan in the new and very well decorated, shed.
