Yesterday I was so sick with a head cold all I could do was lay on the couch and blink.
I am so grateful for good friends who show up at my front door and say, "I am stealing your kids, you can have them back after dinner." I don't know what I would have done with them all afternoon. There would have been lots of TV and fighting. So, thank you!
In all seriousness Ethan said, "Mom, if you're not feeling good, don't worry, I can boss everyone around for you." Then he gave me a hug and a kiss and went off to play.
